Our Mission

The world can be divided into people who do and people who do not have access to - or the ability to use - modern information technology.  This "digital divide" is also true in the business world and often leads to the failure of companies with so much promise.  Our mission is to bring modern information technology to small businesses through affordable and practical methods.

Who We Are

Our focus, within the information technology field, is data management.  Data management is the skill of controlling the flow of data, organizing the storage of data, and converting data into useful information.  Our company is built on 9 years combined experience in data management and small business consulting.

Our Strengths

Most data management firms will try to convince you that the only option is to have data applications developed from scratch (which can mean very costly fees for you).  Or they will try to suggest  complicated data management technology (so complicated that keeps you dependent on their business for technical support).  InfoUpgrade is different from most data management firms.  The following is what we  do and these are our strengths:

  • We offer free on-site assessments of your information and data management needs.
  • We provide upfront estimates of, not just one data management solution, but several options available to meet your needs.  We let you have the final word on which option to proceed with.
  • We understand what it takes to run a small business especially within the various industries of New York City.  Every industry and community has its own economy and our recommendations are within the context of the bigger picture.
  • We appreciate that every person is not comfortable with technology.  We take the time to learn about the data needs of your business and we are sensitive to your ability to "self-manage" data in the future.  You may not have the confidence to do it alone in the beginning but we will give you the tools you need to get there.
